Welcome to the Greensburg Ghost Society! We’re a dedicated ghost-hunting team of paranormal investigators based in Greensburg, Pennsylvania, right in the heart of Westmoreland County. What began as a fun hobby back in 2020 has expanded into a dedicated pursuit that we pour our hearts and souls into. We’re always on the lookout for new experiences, learning opportunities, and ways to grow in our understanding of the paranormal.
Our Ghost Hunts have taken us to some fascinating places—think asylums, prisons, poor farms, old mansions, and graveyards. We’re not shy about jumping into the unknown, and we enjoy the pursuit of ghostly encounters.
When it comes to ghost hunting, we take a scientific approach. We use a variety of tools and techniques to gather data and explore the mysteries that lie beyond our understanding. Innovation and creativity are at the core of what we do, and we believe that by thinking outside the box and taking risks, we can make real progress in our investigations.
But ghost hunting isn’t just about the cool gadgets. While we do use a range of typical ghost-hunting tools, we also emphasize the importance of psychology and a healthy dose of skepticism. We’re all about evidence-based methods, critical thinking, and open-mindedness. Our goal is to inspire curiosity rather than fear or blind belief when it comes to the paranormal.
Our main focus is on investigating historic buildings, and while we’re based in Greensburg PA, we’re happy to travel within a 30-60 mile radius for our explorations. We typically don’t investigate private homes unless we have a personal connection with the owner. This may change in the future, but at this time, we are focused on gaining experience.
During our investigations, we employ three key methods: some for data collection, others for experiments, and we also document personal experiences that can be backed up by data or corroborated by fellow team members. We aim to gather evidence in at least two ways—whether that’s through two cameras, two audio devices, or a combination of both. We believe it’s essential to uphold high standards in our investigations and judge our own evidence with a harsh eye. We feel that we owe it to the Paranormal Community to uphold strong values.

Our goal is to capture evidence that can be repeated and validated, helping us to build a clearer picture of the paranormal world. When we explore a property, we treat it with the utmost care. We make sure to clean up after ourselves and leave everything just as we found it. Trespassing is never an option for us; we always seek permission before entering any location.
Safety is our top priority, not just for our team but for everyone involved. We would never defraud, abuse, or exploit anyone or any location, whether financially or otherwise. Honesty is crucial to us, so we would never fabricate evidence of paranormal activity or misrepresent scientific or historical facts.
We also believe in fostering a sense of community within the paranormal world. Supporting other paranormal teams and promoting inclusivity is important to us, as we all share a common goal of exploring the unknown together.
